This is an art journal that I have made out of one sheet of
watercolor paper. I made 3 signatures and I plan on finishing them prior to binding them into a cover. This signature I created the backgrounds completely with my
Gelli Arts Gel Printing Plate. It was a very quick project and this gave me
paper that has lost of texture and color to begin with.

The first three pictures show a progression of how I started with a page that had been printed with a
Gelli Arts Gel Printing Plate, then added other papers and stamps. I the used pens and markers to add doodles and lines to the page. I used sticker letters from
Echo Park Paper Co. 's
For the Record by Bella Road kit. I love the letters in this set because there was 3 different designs all on one 12x12 sheet.
I then used stamps to add the compass rose to the page.
I used a
Bic Market It Chisel Tip in Tuxedo Black, to finish it off with some large black outlines to make certain ares of the page pop.
