Summer Doodles Day 23

This page was created in my large journal. I painted the base colors in shades of blues, and greens with a little bit of yellow thrown into the mix. I then watered down some white paint and let it dry just a little bit. After that I used a spray bottle to put a little bit of water on the page, then I wiped the water off with a paper towel. this is what created the interesting texture on the page. I then  applied black paint with an old giftcard  to add the lines. I really don’t know what I should do to finish it. I really like it the way it is.  Let me know  what you think.

Spending Time With My Girls

Last week was spent at Camp with my girls and I am planning for this week to be spent spending time with them. I will be back with more sketches soon. Summer is too short so I will be here less for the next few days. I do have a few scheduled post to share with you and I hope you will enjoy what I have set to post.

Summer Doodles Day 22

This page spread is in my 11x14 journal is was created on pages that were coated with gesso first. I then layered paint with brushes, my fingers and stencils. I then added doodles with pens and markers.

This Page is in my Large Journal that I wrote about on Day 12. I had a little help with the background, I let my youngest daughter help me and them we added a white wash. After the whitewash we used a card to create the lines that I let dry for a min or too them used a dry brush to blend them a little bit.

I used the Bic multicolor pen in spring colors and I just used the teal and was really just playing around.

This page was created with a Micron Pen. I was just trying to loosen up and create more fluid lines and the circles were just an afterthought.
