{this page was created in my Paperchase kraft paper journal using Windsor Newton watercolors, waterbrush, micron pens, and a black Prismacolor watercolor pencil}
This page was inspired by a photo I took on our trip to Texas back in April. I took a few pictures of the thistle plants and I wanted to make a more abstract page full of them.
This picture was the inspiration for my page.
Linking up with Jen for sneak peek friday to share my sketchbook in the studiothis week.

Wow... what a gorgeous journal page! Such a pretty inspiration plant. I love your take on it! Thanks so much for joining us 'in the studio' and sharing! :)
What wonderful flowers and I love the inspiration. Great!
i love the colors you have used, never seen a plant like that here before...
I agree with the others' comments; love seeing your inspiration next to your interpretation.
Great page in your journal! This must inspired by your classes with Alisa Burke. I've taken her canvas remix classes but have yet the time to apply them...oh well! For now I'll live though your inspiring journal pages. Have a wonderful week, Fondly, Roberta
