December 19-22

I seem to be playing catch-up this month and I will probably be do it this way for the rest of the month. I had planned on posting these every day but with all the hustle and bustle and all the events that go on around Christmas I have been taking the pictures but not getting the pages done everyday. Even though I use the digital format and print at the end of the month I am really enjoying documenting this month and I hope to do it again during another month of the year and not just December each year. I really would love to do the project life next year and I don’t know if I will or not.

Today I took the girls to the town square for Christmas pictures and They thought that I should be in them too. So I let Anastasia take the picture of Shae and I, then I let Shae take the picture of Me and Anastasia. Neither of them knew to shade the lens when taking a picture in bright sunlight but I love how each of them turned out. The marbles are on the page because Anastasia taught Shae how to multiply by using marbles as manipulatives using a organizer box with slots for the other number in the problem. It worked really well with her having a visual to picture the problem. They also found a ladybug and we very surprised it was still alive after the very cold night that we had last night.  .

Today started out to be a stay at home day but turned into running around town for a couple of hours. When I got back home I realized that I hadn’t taken any pictures. So I decide to draw one of my favorite ornaments to tell the story of it. Well when I sat down to write I could not remember where we purchased it at but I know that we have had it for more than just a few years.

Yesterday was a typical Monday or running around paying bills and being in the car most of the day and I really felt that I wanted to tell the story of pumpkin pie today. It is my dad’s favorite pie and I cook it for Thanksgiving and for Christmas. I am working on a page about our typical Monday and I will share it here also.

December 4

Today was a hard day, as we had a memorial service of a church friend, so I decided  that today’s page would be about the Christmas crafting that has been going on around here.

Daily December Day 3

We had a very early morning for a Saturday. Up at 7 to get ready to go to a 4H event. The girls were excited as this was their 1st event to participate in other than a club meeting. After that we had a birthday party at noon and then I took them shopping to spend some Kohl’s Cash and a trip to target for Anastasia to finish her Christmas shopping. I cooked dinner and then crashed on the couch while the girls watched Home Alone 2 Lost in New York.

Daily December Day 2

Yesterday was a very busy day. We have homeschool group on Fridays and the Christmas Parade was at 7pm last night. Daily December Day 1

Here is the first layout for my Daily December Pictures this year. I am working in the digital format again this year. I really enjoyed this project last year. I hope you come back and check out more of my pages. No words ended up on this page today but I might add some later. I spent to day decorating my church for Christmas and taking the girls shopping to Michael’s and Khols’. Mom and Dad ate dinner with us tonight and I completed the first drawing of my 30 days of Drawing with Traci Bunkers.
