This page showcases a picture from last weeks camping trip. We had a great time at the Willis Knob Campground. I loved that is was 2 miles from the nearest paved road and 16 miles from the nearest town. I really seemed like we were roughing it, except we had electricity, water, and a bathhouse.
After I took this picture I almost couldn't believe it. My girls never want to me take their pictures together, but this time I guess it just happened because I didn't force it. Shae just happened to be standing behind Anastasia at the time I said "Smile".
This one is a picture I took while I was roasting an apple over the campfire. Everyone told me that there was not way I could roast an apple that way an so I had to prove them wrong. The apple turned out to be very yummy and everyone wanted a taste of it.
I've never heard of roasting apples on the fire, but I will definitely be trying it. I'm going to have to bring some cinnamon powder on my next camping trip.
